Who's Coming?

James Carr will be in town to discuss Google Collections. I first met James when I presented at the Lambda Lounge back in February of this year. James is a very passionate agilist (as you can tell from his twitter feed and blog). You're in for a treat!

We probably have room for 2-3 lightning talks - please let Matt know ASAP if you'd like to give a talk. Thanks!

We will again be treated to dinner/snacks courtesy of our principal sponsor, Vaco Technology. We will also have several exciting door prizes!

James is a contractor in the St.Louis area that shares a passion for software craftsmanship and has enjoyed software development since he wrote his first program in Basic on the Tandy Color Computer 3 way back in 1988.

In addition to a passion for technology, he also has a keen interest in improving teamwork and collaboration through interactive activities to get people thinking creatively and develop stronger, richer communication channels with their stakeholders.

    Topic: Google Collections

Google Collections provides a wide variety of features that make working with collections more efficient and fun. James will show examples of using collection literals, handy utility operations and some of the functional programming constructs that the library provides.

Are we allowed to bring a significant other? My fiance takes an interest in my hobbies. Or maybe she likes to know where I go in the evening. Either way, can non members come?
